My journey began already at a young age. Feeling unworthy, insecure and unhappy in my life and on this earth, my mom would drag me to various alternative therapies, which helped me a lot going into puberty. Permeated with a feeling of wanting to be of service to the world, combined with my interest for human behaviour, I studied Criminology and joined the National Police where I worked as a detective. A dream from childhood. And there I met my own battlefield.
How do I stay true to myself, to my soft emphatic character, in a harsh and masculine environment...
As if life gave me a push, with the sudden loss of my mother,
my relationship that broke up and not much later I turned out to have cancer.
The journey towards myself and life took on deeper forms.
Questions arose like "What is my purpose?" and "Am I living my most beautiful life?"
These questions brought me on a beautiful path, a journey to my true Self, my soul.
I left my job and followed my heart, knowing that there is no other way, then the way from love. Where more and more I was "undoing"; of my identity, conditioning, expectations, patterns judgements and desires to control life.
A continually unfolding in the openness of life.
Including it all
In which I learned that everything is so welcome, also and especially the human messiness.
That the voice that thought that I should have felt certain feelings by now, or "spiritually" should not experience anymore, was again a new conditioning.
I discovered that the true art of living is an openness to every experience.
Because it already is our natural state already. We don't have to do anything for that.
Every feeling, every thought and every sensation in our body, our pain, brokenness, shame and vulnerability long to be allowed in that openness.
To come home to me, to come home to you.
I completed a 200h Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training, followed by many different workshops, courses, (silence) retreats and study groups. Meditation became one of my biggest teachers and practises, inspired by many great teachers like Eckhart Tolle, Mooji, Adyashanti, Pia Ma, Ferry Maidman, Sat Shree, Amoda Maa and Jeff Foster, for who I am eternally grateful for. I completed a 200h Yin Yoga Teacher Training, an Inquiry (Focusing) training and became a certified Breathwork Coach.
I love to spend my time in nature and most of all, I love to Dance, it connect's me with my feminine, joy, strength and sensuality.
I have a longing for true, deep and vulnerable connections in life.
To connect from heart to heart.
And a great and deep wish for the whole world to relate in this way.
Where every living being recognise itself in everything around.
No exception, cause we are all one in our uniqueness.
To know this, and especially to feel this, to live this.
That's my invitation for you.
With compassion, soft & loving awareness,
I am looking forward to meet you!
